The UP Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (UP-EEEI) has been chosen to host the upcoming Regional Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering 2015 (RC EEE) of the ASEAN University Network-Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (AUN/SEED-Net) Project, tentatively on November 16 to 17, 2015.
The Regional Conference (RC) Program of the AUN/SEED-Net is a “platform to share the most updated technology and research of regional common issues, as well as publicize research works” of the member institutions (MIs). It also allows opportunities for participants “to discuss future collaborations and activities related to each engineering field.”
UP Diliman is one of the 26 leading MIs of the AUN/SEED-Net.
SEED-Net is an autonomous sub-network of AUN which aims to promote “human resources development in engineering in ASEAN.” It is mainly supported by the Japanese government through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and partially supported by the ASEAN Foundation.
